The NFL Network named Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry to its "Top 100 Players of 2017" list on Monday night. The league's players vote upon the rankings.

Berry came in at the league's 13th best player, up 42 spots from last season (No. 55).

Berry had 77 tackles (62 solo) and four interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns last season. Berry also recorded the NFL's first ever two-point conversion attempt intercepted and returned for a touchdown in the Chiefs' 29-28 win over the eventual NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons.

Berry was named a first-team All-Pro for that 2016 campaign.

With the announcement, Berry became the sixth Chiefs player named to the 2017 list, joining quarterback Alex Smith (No. 81), linebacker Justin Houston (No. 76), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (No. 36), cornerback Marcus Peters (No. 32) and tight end Travis Kelce (No. 26).
